Senior Associate/Associate - Research and Development - Tax - Shenzhen
Job Profile Summary
A career in our Research and Development practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist clients in structuring their research and development programs, improving their return on research and development investment and their effective tax rate. You will also work with governments of all levels to design and improve tax regimes in order to foster innovation.
Our team provide insights and professional suggestions that can help mitigate risk and effectively manage tax burden. Adopting technology driven methodology, you will assist clients to identify and develop critical and strategic initiatives, support implementation through documentation of key aspects of various incentives, and develop procedures and technologies intended to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of identifying, documenting, calculating, and sustaining current and future incentives as well as management of research and development activities.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead interviews with the clients to understand clients’ business operation and R&D projects
• Assist partner in new client/business development
• Maintain good and long-term relationship with clients, provide various R&D related consulting services together with the team
• Review technical report, manage project team, plan overall team resources based on business development
• Coach and supervise associates and senior associates
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above
• 5 years working experience above in tax related works, prefer big four working experience
• Strong project managing and tracking skills, able to control the project risk, independent working ability on multi projects
• Fluent in oral and writing English, overseas study or working experience preferred
• Good teamwork and communication abilities, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast growing environment with tight deadlines, interested in being a professional in PwC focused on technical consultation work
