As a management consulting generalist at PwC, you will play a vital role in helping clients optimise their operations, improve performance, and achieve strategic objectives. Your work may include analysing business data, developing strategies, supporting management teams, collaborating across teams, optimising tools and technology, improving organisational performance, monitoring compliance, and/or managing change.

Job Description

Join our China H&LS practice to lead end-to-end strategy and transformation projects for multinational and leading domestic pharma, med-tech and digital-health clients. You will turn ambiguous market, regulatory and operational challenges into pragmatic, high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

• Structure and solve complex problems using data, stakeholder insights and proven consulting frameworks.

• Own workstreams or full engagements, mobilising multi-disciplinary teams and coaching junior consultants.

• Build trusted C-suite relationships; distil and deliver crisp recommendations in Mandarin and English.

• Track market and policy trends, converting them into foresight and new business opportunities for clients.

• Demonstrate resilience under tight deadlines, shifting scopes or stakeholder pressure.

Requirements

• 5–10 years total experience: minimum 3 years in top-tier consulting plus commercial / operational / supply-chain roles within MNC pharma or medical-device companies.

• Bachelor or advanced degree (Master/PhD/MBA) in pharmaceutical science, life science, medicine or related fields.

• Solid grasp of China’s evolving healthcare regulations and policy landscape.

• Analytical rigour, financial acumen, and the ability to work independently or lead teams.

Good communication and interpersonal skill.
