Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking a senior OT technical expert with extensive knowledge and technical background in the field of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) or Smart Manufacturing. As a senior OT technical expert, you will collaborate with the headquarters' digitalization team to participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex industrial automation systems to support the company's digital transformation and the implementation of IIoT/Smart Manufacturing. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of industrial equipment, sensors, device protocols, and industrial networks, as well as integration with enterprise bus systems.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
In-depth understanding of the concepts, principles, and technologies of Industrial Internet of Things or Smart Manufacturing, and the ability to apply them in practical industrial automation environments.
Profound knowledge and awareness of the ISA-95 architecture.
Deep understanding of industrial software, industrial networks, industrial control, and industrial sensing.
Familiarity with the basic concepts of cloud computing, such as IaaS, PaaS, iPaaS, SaaS.
Knowledge of the solutions and architectures for Industrial Internet of Things provided by cloud vendors like Microsoft, AWS, IBM, and familiarity with the digital infrastructure architecture of edge-cloud collaboration.
Extensive knowledge and experience in sensors and device protocols, such as Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet, and the ability to configure and integrate these devices in complex projects.
Proficiency in industrial network architecture and communication protocols, such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and the ability to design and optimize highly reliable industrial networks for efficient data transmission and communication.
In-depth understanding and experience with enterprise bus systems, such as CAN bus, DeviceNet, and the ability to integrate and communicate with these systems.
Familiarity with industrial automation software and tools, such as PLC programming, SCADA systems, MES systems, and the ability to solve problems in complex environments.
Some knowledge of communication technologies like 5G, WiFi 6, UWB, ORE.
Priority given to candidates with project background or experience in edge computing, digital twins, predictive maintenance, smart dashboards, and other digital application scenarios.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
At least 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of industrial automation, with preference given to those with experience in Industrial Internet of Things/Smart Manufacturing projects.
Some understanding of the responsibilities and division of IT and OT, with preference given to those with IT-OT integration project background.
Additional Requirements:
Communicate with OT managers of various company mines regarding technical architecture, project progress, etc., to ensure smooth project implementation.
Provide OT-related training to internal teams to enhance overall technical capabilities.
Provide suggestions or risk warnings to the company's business or IT departments to ensure project security and reliability.
Collaborate with various departments to contribute to mine automation and promote the implementation of Industrial Internet of Things and Smart Manufacturing.
