Guided by the Corporate Sustainability Manager, this role is responsible for implementing a range of projects that strengthen sustainability outcomes at PwC China. It includes a range of day-to-day tasks for PwC’s environmental initiatives, including external partnerships, employee engagement, and greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting – the backbone of our net zero emissions commitment. The role requires excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a detail-oriented working style, in order to achieve exceptional results across GHG data collection and reporting requirements, deliver internal sustainability initiatives, develop relevant communications materials, build and maintain external partnerships, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of administrative tasks.

Job Description

Main responsibilities:

    • Support environmental volunteering, staff engagement and awareness raising activities
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and promote environmental initiatives internally
    • Develop, engage, maintain and support relationships with relevant NGOs, key suppliers and other external partners to deliver designed outcome
    • Support GHG data collection, analysis, reporting and verification in line with relevant PwC and external frameworks and methodologies
    • Contribute to internal and external Corporate Sustainability reporting and communications (for example social media posts, internal newsletters, Powerpoint materials for various webinars and presentation sessions)

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor in environmental management or other related discipline
  • Demonstrated project management and stakeholder engagement experience
  • Data management skills desirable
  • 1-2 years working experience is a plus, graduates with some corporate and/or environment-related experience may also apply
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with other relevant digital applications highly desired
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in Mandarin and English.

  • Highly motivated with strong time and project management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously

  • Detail-oriented, strong researching and organization skills, and care with figures
  • Flexibility to support environmental events beyond office hours (compensated appropriately)
