Job Profile Summary

Our Communications team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing corporate communication strategies and programmes to promote PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to sustainable revenue growth. As part of the team, you’ll help to develop and drive communications strategies and plans that aligns with our business goals, craft messaging and contents under PwC’s tone of voice, tell compelling PwC stories, cultivate and manage media relationships, manage crisis issues, and identify new and emerging brand profiling opportunities for the Firm.

 

Job Description

You will work closely with the team to develop, establish and manage media strategies and media relations to meet the objectives of the firm. The department focuses on delivering high quality services to our internal clients i.e. the partners and the ability to communicate and administer activities to the maximum efficiency is an asset.

 

  • Monitor daily media coverage and prepare monthly news clipping reports
  • Build and maintain media contacts databases and mailing lists, assist with mailing shots where necessary
  • Gather research and market intelligence information, compile reports and presentations
  • Draft press materials, social media messages, proofreading and editing as required
  • Assist in the planning, logistics, administrative and execution of media campaigns such as press conferences, chamber and corporate hospitality events
  • Analyse and develop media angles and materials of thought leadership pieces and stories for increasing media share of voice
  • Develop and implement media and communication strategies to enhance the firm’s visibility
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with different departments within the firm and members of the media if needed

 

Requirements

  • Degree holder in PR / Journalism / Communications / Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum six years’ experience, preferably gained in local or international media or publishing house. Candidate with fewer experience will be considered as Marketing Consultant.
  • Have work experience in a financial institution, chamber and/or public relations agency would be an advantage
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, including writing features, press releases, speeches and social media posts
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage
  • Experience in crisis management would be a plus
  • Multi-tasking, goal and detailed-oriented with strong media sensitivity
  • A self-starter and able to deliver high quality work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS office applications Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • A team player, meticulous & with a positive work attitude
