We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Associate Director/Senior Manager to join our Clients and Markets team in China/HK. This pivotal role is crucial in driving strategic projects, managing local efforts, and serving as a key liaison between global, regional, and local teams. The successful candidate will ensure the successful implementation of global and local initiatives as well as driving comprehensive reporting to communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders.

The Clients & Markets Development team, a part of Firmwide Corporate Services (FCS), plays a key role in enhancing the firm’s ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional services across its priority industries and key accounts. By collaborating closely globally and locally with the firm’s leadership, relationship partners, and account teams, the team drives strategic initiatives to strengthen internal collaboration and client connections, with the aim to support the firm’s growth and market success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Global and Regional Initiatives (60%):

  • Global/Regional Liaison: Act as the primary contact for facilitating communication and reporting for the CN/HK Markets Leader at global and regional levels
  • Initiative Implementation: Drive and adapt global/regional initiatives locally, ensuring alignment with CN/HK’s strategy and representing local perspectives
  • Event Support: Prepare materials, insights, and analyses for key global and regional events
  • Best Practices Implementation: Identify and implement best practices from global and regional teams to enhance CN/HK operations
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop a SharePoint site for firmwide sharing of global/regional best assets with the CN/HK team

Local/Strategic Support (40%):

  • Strategic Project Support: Drive local strategic initiatives to enhance existing processes and functions
  • Reporting and Communication: Facilitate comprehensive reporting and analyses to support decision-making and demonstrate progress to leadership and stakeholders

Work Experience and Desired Attributes:

  • Experience working in a Line of Service (LoS) capacity, engaging directly with clients and collaborating across the global network. Demonstrate a strong understanding of client interactions, firm operations, and cross-border collaboration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across all levels of the firm
  • Proven track record in driving strategic projects and initiatives under tight timelines
  • Adept at data analysis and leveraging insights for strategic decision-making
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, able to summarize and present complex information effectively for stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing and guiding teams successfully  
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with particularly strong English writing skills  (Cantonese is a plus)
