Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1.Governance:
- Assist in setting up governance frameworks.
- Coordinate with leadership to ensure alignment with global standards.
- Maintain a governance calendar for key meetings, reporting deadlines, and approvals.
2.Compliance:
- Develop compliance checklists and workflows.
- Coordinate internally to ensure adherence to compliance deadlines.
- Conduct periodic reviews to identify compliance gaps and suggest mitigations.
- Operational Tax Reporting: Ensure compliance with operational tax reporting frameworks, including the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and other investor reporting regimes
3.Stakeholder Coordination:
- Act as the main point of contact for compliance-related inquiries for clients.
- Supporting clients in building their compliance and governance frameworks around data management and operational taxation
- Facilitate regular updates on compliance status and risks.
4.Training and Awareness:
- Develop training materials for client and PwC internal use on governance and compliance best practices.
- Support rollout of awareness campaigns to ensure consistent understanding of requirements.
5.Project Management:
- Assist in creating and maintaining business operations, ensuring alignment with timelines and deliverables.
- Track and report on progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Support leadership in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
6.Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate closely to ensure governance, compliance, and managed services are aligned.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing.
7.Risk Management:
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Escalate high-priority risks for resolution.
Requirements:
1.Bachelor's degree or above.
2.2-5 years of experience in governance, compliance, or a related area such as fund administration, customer onboarding, tax operations, or AML/KYC at financial institutions.
3.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
