Senior Associate/Manager - Actuarial - GI

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Conduct actuarial analyses related to general insurance, including but not limited to reserving and valuation.
- Work collaboratively with senior actuaries and colleagues across different offices to deliver high-quality consulting services on various insurance projects.
- Provide expert advice on solvency, economic capital, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring, and risk control.
- Develop and implement new insurance products and refine existing ones.
- Assess the impact of new regulations on insurance companies and advise on strategic responses.
- Enhance the efficiency of claims processing and financial reporting for clients.
- Support the development and review of actuarial models and assumptions.
- Engage in client management activities, including maintaining and expanding client relationships.
- Participate in business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and presentations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the general insurance
- Attained an internationally recognized actuarial qualification a plus
- HKRBC, IFRS17 and valuation related experience is a plus
- Strong marketing, client management and project management skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) or another Asian language is highly advantageous.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and geographies.
