Job Description

A career in Independence, within FCS, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You'll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC's regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.

 

Our team provides guidance on all areas of PwC's independence policy and the regulatory environment. As part of the team, you'll provide updates on independence and regulatory rules and will evaluate new audit client opportunities based on PwC's independence policies and procedures.

 

Senior associate of Independence Assessment Team, your responsibilities will mainly include:

• Handle daily inquires on independence assessments, covering CN/HK/TW;

• Handle daily inquires and review on local and overseas relationship checking requests;

• Assist PwC CN/HK/TW and overseas audit teams in performing preliminary analytical review on the independence assessment;

• Perform quality review on work assigned to and performed by Chengdu SDC;

• Assist in enhancing the system functionalities used in independence assessments, including supporting the automation of manual processes.

 

Manager of Independence Assessment Team, your responsibilities will mainly include:

• Handle daily inquiries and consultations on independence assessments, covering CN/HK/TW;

• Perform analytical review on the independence assessment for by PwC CN/HK/TW and overseas audit teams;

• Perform research and support the development of the independence assessment related guidance;

• Assist in preparing independence assessment related training materials;

• Assist in enhancing the system functionalities used in independence assessments, including supporting the automation of manual processes.

Technical related

• Degree holder in any discipline;

• Fast learner;

• Advance logical thinking skill, sound analytical skills and commercial acumen;

• Fluency in English, and Mandarin;

• Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese.
