Job Description

The role will be based in Hong Kong and work regionally with our Financial Services consulting team. You will be working alongside with a highly collaborative group of data and analytics individuals to support our multinational and domestic clients in the following areas:

  • Develop Data and Analytics Strategy through a holistic and industry lens that would help our clients transform their business with a “cloud-first, data-driven” approach. This includes (but not limited to) data and analytics target operating model design, Chief Data/AI Office advisory services, cloud data platform strategy, responsible AI services, data monetization, etc
  • Design Data Governance and Data Quality measures using PwC’s industry leading data management framework. Provide data cataloging and metadata management strategy and implementation services tailored to business and operational objectives of the client’s organization
  • Modernize Data & Analytics Architecture and Infrastructure by organizing how data is stored, processed, managed and used across the organization in a secure and interoperable environment. Assessment of data and analytics tools to support the ingestion, processing, management and consumption of data obtained internally, externally and of structured and unstructured formats

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher related to business, computer science or information management, etc
  • Strong understanding of data management lifecycle concepts (e.g. acquisition, ingestion, integration, security, data linkage, retention, disposal, etc)
  • Experience with designing and operationalizing data governance and data quality programs for enterprise (people and culture, process and operating model, tools and technology, etc)
  • Hands on experience with data catalog and/or data quality tools such as Informatica, Collibra, Ataccama or Talend
  • Experience with Master Data Management would be an asset but not mandatory
  • Fluent in English and preferably in either Cantonese or Mandarin
  • Prior experience in financial services industry(insurance, banking and capital market, asset and wealth management) would be an asset but not mandatory
