A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

Job Description

Embark on a career in M&A and International Tax services, where you'll have the opportunity to guide clients through the complexities of cross-border mergers and acquisitions. You'll also provide clients with strategic insights into transaction tax structuring and post-deal integration. Our team is dedicated to enhancing our clients' tax strategies, helping them manage tax risks and make informed decisions. You'll assist businesses in achieving orderly tax compliance, developing effective tax strategies, and maximizing post-tax profits through optimised solutions tailored to cross-border mergers and acquisitions.
 
Job Description & Responsibilities:
• Provide regional and cross-border M&A tax consulting services.
• Conduct tax due diligence and tax structuring to identify key tax risks and optimise corporate structures.
• Collaborate with PwC network firms, and the deals team on cross-border tax advisory projects, including mergers and acquisitions, public listings, group restructuring, transfer pricing, operational reviews, sale and purchase agreement review and tax opinion drafting.
• Engage in structured training programs to enhance your skills as a professional advisor in international tax matters.
• Participate in business structuring initiatives and advise on the implications of BEPS Pillar 2 in the context of cross-border and transnational M&A activities.
 
Requirements:
• A university degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Membership in a professional accounting body is preferred.
• International or cross-border exposure is advantageous.
• Demonstrates initiative and proactive problem-solving.
• Minimum of two years of relevant tax experience, particularly in international tax is preferred.
• Candidates with an audit or legal background are also encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English; fluency in Chinese or other languages is a plus but not essential.
• Leads and contributes to team success with a passion for client service.
