As a management consulting generalist at PwC, you will play a vital role in helping clients optimise their operations, improve performance, and achieve strategic objectives. Your work may include analysing business data, developing strategies, supporting management teams, collaborating across teams, optimising tools and technology, improving organisational performance, monitoring compliance, and/or managing change.
Job Description
You will work in a team lead capacity, helping to drive the solutioning and execution to resolve complex business issues. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Business Process Re-engineering:
- Work closely with clients to transform and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their Business process including:
- Process specific analysis
- Front-to-back office process re-design:
- Assess operating models for opportunities for partnerships, shared services and strategic sourcing
- Develop short and long term adoption strategy to achieve designed process re-engineering objectives
Digital Transformation:
- Work with clients to assess digital solutions to enable a robust, automated, and comprehensive Financial Transformation journey.
- Work with clients as their digital solution implementation partner to offer business and technical expertise
- To work closely with clients as their Transformation Project Management Office to highlight risks, considerations, dependencies to enable a smooth project roll out.
Finance Transformation, including Financial and Management Reporting:
- Work with our clients to transform their Finance functions through:
- Assessing existing Finance processes, control frameworks and pain points; redesigning the Finance target-state operating model
- Uplifting the Finance function through automation and efficiency assessments
- As business analyst to analyse user requirements and advise on initiative implementation and design, including implementation of system or process change
- Advise clients of industry best practices for statutory and management reporting to achieve more efficient and insightful reporting
Preferred skills
- Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, information systems, or a related field with 6 years or more working experience for Manager grade.
- Experience in working in Big-4 firms and/or Management Consulting companies with strong consulting mindset, or experience in running projects or providing project management support in in-house environment.
- Hands on leadership experience in Operational transformation, Finance transformation or Project Management Office projects, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to client and third party vendors.
- Experience in enterprise wide project/solution deployment and project management role for multinational companies would be an advantage,
- Strong team player with group facilitation and presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving/ solutioning capabilities;
- A proven ability to translate client objectives into deliverable design, and develop deliverables that address complex situations would be an advantage;
- Hands-on design or development experience in ERP or EPM solutions, or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), Power Apps, and Alteryx would be an advantage.
- For candidates applying for Manager grade, proven ability and experience to lead and coach junior team members.
- Self-motivated, well-organised and can-do attitude; and
- Proficiency in English and Cantonese is essential. Mandarin would also be an advantage
