Job Profile Summary

Requirements

1. Possesses 2+ years of experience in crypto and digital assets, preferably at the institutional level
2. Demonstrates intimate abilities and a proven record of success as a team leader working with business stakeholders and understanding their business needs, including: 
   1. Having an understanding of front, middle and back-office processes associated with banking, lending, and payments (asset and wealth management a bonus);
   2. Having an understanding of how crypto exchanges, custodians, decentralized exchanges, and brokers operate
   3. Having an understanding of digital assets regulations in HK and other jurisdictions
   4. Having an understanding of digital assets related AML/CTF and other compliance controls
   5. Having deep knowledge of the digital assets ecosystem, including crypto, STOs, stablecoins, and NFTs (either financial products or non-financial products like gaming);
   6. Having personal experience in trading crypto/digital assets;
   7. Having a track record of delivering crypto services to PwC targeted clients in the ecosystem (this could be new entrants like crypto exchanges or traditional institutions adopting digital assets); and,
   8. Having service delivery experience includes but is not limited to product strategy and platform implementation
3. Experience analyzing, developing, and testing blockchain technologies; creating and implementing business processes related to digital assets
4. Stay up-to-date on development within the industry and maintain a deep understanding of existing and upcoming blockchain protocols and crypto-assets, especially around emerging ecosystem trends, products, and protocols. Become a domain expert on crypto-assets
5. Guide and develop assessment framework(s) to identify risks and merits of blockchain and crypto-assets, with a focus on protocols, smart contracts, token and node design
6. Guide and conduct crypto-asset analysis and generate actionable insights and make recommendations for improving and developing rating assessment frameworks
7. Guide and perform deep research analysis on blockchain nodes, oracles, tokenization, CBDCs, stablecoins, Defi, NFTs, DAOs, and other crypto-assets

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Math, or similar preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, or management consulting, preferably in banking or capital markets.
3. 2+ years of practical experience with crypto analysis, digital assets, building blockchain applications, cryptography, stablecoins, DAOs, and financial modelling
4. Working knowledge of crypto-assets trading, token design, and evaluation of blockchain protocols. Strong understanding of crypto-asset market dynamics
5. Experience with project development life cycle, preferably within banking & capital markets environment, or leading crypto & blockchain startups
6. Demonstrated knowledge of innovative technical concepts, including Blockchain, Machine Learning, AI, etc., and solid analytical orientation
7. Experience in the market or competitive intelligence, business operations, data visualization tools, and data warehouse development
8. English, Cantonese, and Mandarin fluency are mandatory
