Job Profile Summary

A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You’ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwC’s financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, you’ll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Responsibilities

 

As a Senior Finance Manager at PwC, you will:

  • Prepare and handle financial statements, audit and tax reporting
  • Monitor compliance with evolving accounting regulations and internal financial policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency in financial reporting
  • Prepare detailed budgets and financial projections
  • Perform cash flow analysis and projection
  • Assist in monthly closing and account analysis
  • Support special projects, system implementations, and process enhancements as assigned

 


Requirements

 

To excel in this role, you possess:

  • Degree holder or above in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualified member of HKICPA (or equivalent) with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in the accounting industry or multinational corporations
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience accounting standards and taxation
  • Proven experience in supervising a team of staff
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent communication abilities in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Sun Accounts and Vision is a plus
  • Knowledge and strong interest in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is an asset
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Finance Manager
