Job Profile Summary

A career in our Financial Accounting practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team provides our clients with customised accounting services based on their in house needs and current International Financial Reporting Standards (International Financial Reporting Standards) guidelines. You’ll work with our team to provide specialist advice and training in areas such as financial instruments, business combinations, pensions and share schemes, listings, corporate treasury, company secretarial and corporate governance.

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Handle bookkeeping and maintain full set of books and accounts of various companies

• Prepare management accounts and breakdowns and other reconciliation schedules

• Prepare cash flow statements and consolidation schedules

• Handle payroll processing, MPF / ORSO / statutory entitlement related calculations and administration; prepare payroll registers, payslips, MPF/ ORSO remittance statements, payroll journals and reports

• Prepare employer’s returns and notifications

• Prepare payment instructions (including auto-pay, cheques and telegraphic transfers)

• Degree holder in Human Resources, Accounting or Business related disciplines

Requirements:

• At least 1 years' relevant working experience, more junior candidates will be considered as Associates;

• Hands-on experience in computerized accounting systems & payroll software

• Knowledge in salaries tax and employer's obligations under the Inland Revenue Ordinance, the Employment Ordinance and MPF regulations is a definite advantage

• Self-motivated, willing to learn and responsible

• Fluent in Cantonese, and good command of written and spoken English

• Good time management skills, positive attitude and capable of working under pressure

• Detail-minded and well-organized

• Good communication and inter-personal skills

• Strong PC skills in MS Word and Excel
