Working in this area, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to facilitate compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Description
As the Independence Scope of Service manager, your responsibilities will mainly include:
- Handle daily consultations on scope of service, covering CN/HK/TW
- Support practice team in performing the review on the non-audit service permissibility (i.e. AFS Review, AC communication review)
- Conduct enhanced controls and monitoring of High Risk Non-audit Services
- Conduct Engagement Independence Audit procedures
- Perform research and support the development of OAS/other non-assurance services practice guides
- Assist in preparing technical analysis on particular independence related issues
- Assist in preparing scope of service related training materials
- Perform engagement review to facilitate the Firm’s acquisition and regulator’s inspection
