Job Description
The Clients & Markets team is part of the Internal Firm Services line of service. It is responsible for driving the establishment and maintenance of strong client relationships and high-quality service delivery to the firm’s priority accounts. It does this through working with the firm’s leadership and with relationship/industry partners and account teams across the business. Although the team is run centrally, most team members are physically dispersed around different areas of the business.
Our team is a client focused group that is responsible for demonstrating the PwC’s value propositions in market and driving long term growth. You’ll work with the Clients & Markets team to drive consistency in executing our client relationship, and business development strategy, as well as driving our pursuit framework to help deliver value on key business initiatives.
Job Description:
As part of the CN/HK national Pursuit Team, the current role is preferable based in the South region, but can be flexibly arranged depends on the candidates’ background. One of the primary conditions is the language skill that we need both mandarin and English masterly equipped. This manager role involves working closely with the team help increase the firm’s chances of winning opportunities by effective management of key pursuits and special projects. In addition, be able to coach the process and encourage winning mindsets and behaviors through interactions with the engagement teams.
As the Pursuit Manager, you’ll work with the project teams from LoS to support proposals and manage operational tasks, which will include the following but not limited to:
1. Client base:
- Project-oriented view, end-to-end support, to take PMO role, co-working with LoS project teams, manage the whole pursuit circles and assist to develop proposal contents, review the inconsistency of proposal content and presentation deck.
2. China Pursuit Hub
- Learn and gather knowledge from different sources and parties, communicate with various LoS/Function teams, combine with pursuit experience to deliver valuable contents on Pursuit Hub;
- Regularly review and launch new materials on Pursuit Hub to keep it up-to-date;
- Review the inconsistency of LoS and industry credential deck contents.
3. Other Firmwide Infrastructure
- Facilitate the project team on bidding process, leverage SDC pursuit workforce to maximize bidding efficiency.
- Assist on market-related data research with Research team to provide pursuit insights and client intelligence when analyzing business development materials.
- Assist on Pursuit Automation platform - One Stop Pursuit daily maintenance, and provide support to platform user.
Mandatory experience and skills:
-Understanding or prior work experience in Big Four/Consulting Firms, preference to understand the firm structure and services.
-Strong communications skill and multi-task handling skill in a dynamic working environment.
-Successful project management of large projects with multiple stakeholders under tight timelines.
-Strong people skills - ability to quickly build trust, credibility, and rapport with all levels of people.
-Fluent English and Mandarin: speaking and writing.
-Ability to priorities tasks when facing with multiple competing projects.
