A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk. Our Independence Compliance team provides guidance on all areas of PwC’s independence policy and the regulatory environment. As part of the team, you’ll provide updates on Independence and regulatory rules and will evaluate new client opportunities based on PwC’s compliance policies and procedures.

Job Description

As the Independence Scope of Service manager, your responsibilities will mainly include:
•    Handle daily consultations on scope of service, covering CN/HK/TW
•    Support practice team in performing the review on the non-audit service permissibility (i.e.AFS Review, AC communication review)
•    Conduct enhanced controls and monitoring of High-Risk Non-audit Services.
•    Conduct Engagement Independence Audit procedures.
•    Perform research and support the development of OAS/other non-assurance services practice guides.
•    Assist in preparing technical analysis on independence related issues.
•    Assist in preparing scope of service-related training materials.
•    Perform engagement review to facilitate the Firm's acquisition and regulator's inspection.

What you'll need to succeed:
Technical related
•    Degree holder in any discipline
•    Fast learner
•    Sound analytical skills.
•    Advanced logical thinking skill and commercial acumen
•    Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese
•    Fluency in English, and Mandarin
